Shri Ramcharitmanas is the great epic composed by Goswami Tulsidas (1532 -1623) in 16th-century.The word "Ramcharitmanas' is made by combination of wordrs "Ram" (Lord Ram), "charit" (dees) and "manas" (lake). Hence English meaning of Ramacharitmanas is "The Lake of the Deeds of Rama".
